When you apply for a visa, green card, or citizenship, the option of paying to have the process expedited could be optional.
This means that you pay more money, and in return, your application for a visa to the United States, green card, or American citizenship is processed faster than non-expedited visa and citizenship application. Expediting your visa or citizenship application does not improve your chances of application approval, nor does it change or decrease the extent and number of criteria you must meet to be approved.
